Shiny Day

I spent most of today with my mother, and we had a lot of fun. First, we had breakfast at the local greasy spoon... yummy bacon and eggs - where we made a map of the world with the sugar packets. Then I got a manicure - I'm wearing Opi Don't Be Koi with Me, a bright orangy color - perfect for summer. We did a bit of shopping then got some dinner fixin's at King Soopers. After a lovely dinner on the back porch (and after chasing Deke into the house twice!) we watched the pilot episode of Firefly, Serenity, and then Shindig. Mom really enjoyed the show.
